For Reference Purposes an online English translation of the Snow Queen can be found Here

  • Well, obviously the two of them spent a lot of time fighting each other with toy swords and competing with each other like in canon. While Other Worlds don't quite exist as they do in the normal KHverse's (the Fairy and Demon worlds aren't quite the same thing), and this world is much bigger than the Islands, Riku was still interested in leaving their Town one day to see what else is out there.
  • Riku's reaction to the having the mirror shards in him was to become very distant from everyone else and go off by himself alone to train a lot. When his friends, and especially Sora and Kairi try to talk sense into him, he mocked and taunted them. He stops competing with Sora and just dismisses him as weak. Sora and Kairi are both pretty hurt and confused by all this.
  • While Sora does worry that everyone else's assumption that Riku drowned in the river or something might be right, he eventually decides that can't be it and Riku did want to see the rest of the world, so maybe now that he's become a jerk he's decided to leave without Sora and Kairi even though they promised they'd all go together. This is why Sora runs off to chase after Riku. He does leave a note for Kairi and his parents so they won't worry about him, and he does still check with the river just in case.
  • Namine is obviously the same age as Kairi like she's supposed to be. She lives in a big mansion by the river all by herself since her parents are dead and her guardian is gone all the time doing experiments in his lab. She decides to keep Sora because she's incredibly lonely and wants someone to talk to and stay with her so the house doesn't feel so empty. She also has an art gallery instead of a garden.
  • I haven't decided yet what would remind Sora of Riku and Kairi enough to have him recover his memories, but he might get help from Chip and Dale, who have a way into the library from outside and like to come in when it's cold. He also doesn't run off without talking to Namine, who now feels very bad about what she did and helps him by pointing him in the direction of the castle Mickey and Minnie live in, saying they might know more than she does about where Riku might be.
  • Since Mickey is a mouse and not a human in this, Sora's not going to mistakenly think The Prince is Riku, and the story Daisy tells him about the Princess's test to find a Consort is more Daisy explaining why The Princess might be too busy right then to talk to him, though she'll send him to speak to her sweetheart Donald the Court Magician anyway, since he might be able to help.
  • As it turns out, Minnie and Mickey aren't too busy to help Sora and it's explained that the Snow Queen, Maleficent, is quite real and an enemy of their kingdom who causes trouble for them whenever she and her minions come down from the North. There's rumors that she's acquired a new servant recently who matches Riku's description. They give Sora new clothes, a proper sword and send Donald along with him with the instruction to meet up with Goofy who is at the Northern Boarder at the moment and should also be able to help.
  • The Bandit gang that catch Sora and Donald in the woods is not the full Organization. Most of the Original Six except Zexion are missing and Zexion is their Mage, which is how they can capture Donald. Both Roxas and Xion intercede on Sora's behalf when they were planning to just kill him, but they planned on keeping Donald anyway because they recognized Donald as the Court Wizard and decided they were going to ransom him. Roxas and Axel are both put in charge of watching them due to Roxas' being one of the ones who wanted them to keep Sora, and he also takes Sora's sword. Xion takes care of the band's animals.  While at the camp, Sora and Roxas talk and Sora tells him why he was traveling North, and after hearing this and a bit more about the situation up there from Xion's animals, Roxas decides to help Sora and Donald escape and convinces Axel to help, which he does, by distracting the others who are still at camp while Roxas and Xion sneak them out. Roxas then gives Sora his sword back.
  • Once they meet up with Goofy and head on to where Aerith's house is, Aerith gives them food and shelter for the night before sending them on to Merlin who lives closest to where Maleficent's castle is located and can help them further, so this part isn't really that different except for possible cameo's by the rest of the Restoration Committee. Merlin tells Sora straight out he already has everything he needs to save Riku (a brave and compassionate heart), and that there isn't much else he can do to help him,  except give him something that can help him get inside of the castle. He then gives the group the directions they need to get the rest of the way.
